Personal Production License
A personal production license allows a registered patient in the medical cannabis program to grow their own medical cannabis in the place of residence. With a PPL you are allowed to have no more than 4 mature plants in the flowering stage and no more than 12 seedling/clones in the non-flowering stage.
Here’s what you need to apply for this license:
You must be a registered patient in the New Mexico Medical Cannabis Program.
If you rent your home, you must provide written permission from your landlord. If you own your own home, this does not apply.
Homeowners: You must provide proof of residence in the form of recent mortgage statement, homeowners insurance statement, property tax record, or county assessor’s record.
You must provide a $30 payment in the form of check or money order.
If you are on disability, receive social security, or low income. The fee for PPL will not apply and can be waived by the State.
